Outreach means going to where the Veterans are, the VFWs, the American Legions, setting up our info tent during festivals and Veteran holidays. We have shared resources for a multitude of issues for PTSD, Suicide Prevention, Drug Addiction, Employment, Education, Health Care, Homelessness and Mental Health.
We mobilize our team to make a real difference. Join us and see what can be accomplished when you get an impassioned team to focus on change. We work with Social Services to identify Vets that have fallen on hard times, need assistance with the very basic needs like transportation, food and maybe just a ride to the Doctor' office. It highlights the power of people uniting to honor and assist those who have served their country.
When you're helping support our Veterans the term 'Community' refers to a group of individuals or organizations coming together to provide assistance, resources, and care for Veterans. It represents a collective effort to show appreciation, address their unique needs, and ensure their well being after their service. Community support can take various forms, such as organizing events and creating networks for emotional support and camaraderie.
